Packet and bib number (with ChronoTrack timing tag) pickup is Friday, May 26, from noon until 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 27, starting at 6 a.m. in the Robert C. Byrd Intermodal Transportation Center at 1405 Main St.
The top finishers on Saturday will be announced at the Heritage Port Amphitheater at approximately 9:30 a.m. for 5K events and approximately 11:30 a.m. for Half Marathon events. All awards based on gun time. Cash awards and certificates will be mailed after verification.
You may register Friday, May 26, noon until 6 p.m. at the Robert C. Byrd Intermodal Transportation Center. Late registration fees apply. There is no race day registration.

WHEELING —The Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic has been said to be one of the most gruelling courses in the United States, but for Kim Norman, 42, and Carie Gump, 42, of Wheeling, the event is a bond that they have shared for years.

WHEELING — After 37 years of competing in the annual Memorial Day weekend race through Wheeling, city resident Terry Whitecotton claimed his first victory during the Ogden Newspapers 5K Walk on Saturday.
Whitecotton, 63, was the first man to finish the race, as he crossed the line at 36:03.
